A millionaire biohacker who is trying to turn back his biological clock so he can live forever has revealed he is suffering from an incurable disease as his 'stomach is eating itself.'

48-year-old Bryan Johnson made his fortune when PayPal bought his company Braintree, now pours around $2 million a year into an obsessive anti-aging project he calls Blueprint.

He takes more than 100 pills a day, eats every meal before noon, is in bed by 8:30 every night, and has his body monitored by a team of some 30 doctors running constant scans and blood tests.

And then there are the experiments that made headlines.

In 2023, Johnson carried out what he called a "multigenerational plasma exchange," having the blood plasma of his teenage son transfused into his own body, while donating his own to his father.

He nicknamed the two of them his "blood boys." He later dropped the practice after admitting it showed no real benefit.

For years, he has published glowing results, claiming to have the heart of a much younger man and to be aging more slowly than almost anyone alive.

Which is what makes his latest announcement so striking.

This week, Johnson revealed that despite all the money, the pills, and the relentless monitoring, he has been diagnosed with autoimmune gastritis, an incurable disease in which his immune system attacks the lining of his own stomach.

In his own blunt words, "My stomach is eating itself."

The condition had been hiding for years, slipping past all his testing, betrayed only by stubbornly low iron levels.

It carries raised risks of anemia and even stomach cancer, and current medicine can manage it but cannot cure it.
